Biography

Wang Chaokui, The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Department of Ophthalmology, Attending Physician, MD.

Graduated with a doctoral degree from Chongqing Medical University in 2014, and completed further training in oculoplastic and orbital diseases at the Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2018.

Specializes in oculoplastic and aesthetic surgery, including double eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), epicanthoplasty (inner canthal opening), eye bag removal (transconjunctival and transcutaneous approaches), and minimally invasive injectable wrinkle reduction, as well as correction of eyelid laxity, correction of eyelid deformities, correction of various types of ptosis, correction of entropion and trichiasis, conjunctival sac stenosis, orbital implant placement, thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy, and resection and reconstructive repair of malignant eyelid tumors or orbital tumors.

Has published more than 20 SCI-indexed papers, including 10 as first author or co-first author, and serves as principal investigator of one Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Also serves as a youth committee member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and a member of the Oculoplastic and Orbital Disease Group of the Ophthalmology Special Committee of the Chongqing Medical Association.
